I've always been a big Stans supporter. I still think he gets <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">a lot of</span> some criticism he doesn't deserve. And I won't even get into the completely ignorant and childish name-calling that goes on. A man's wife and kids should be off-limits. But I do realize there are retards in every group.

But this time, I just can't do it. Whatever happens, happens. If you get canned, you've only got one person to blame - yourself. Every reason this team wasn't successful ultimately comes back on you. You took a chance on a player than could have been a game-changer. And he certainly changed the game. Changed it into something I don't even recognize. Strong defense and rebounding have always been the foundation you built your teams around. This year, your team was built around lazy defense and whining players. It was your gamble. And you lost.

I don't know what will happen next. The past few years you've done just enough to keep the majority on your side. This year, the natives have grown restless.

But I won't gripe either way - if we get a new coach, or we keep Stans another year. Because I know the chances of either being succesful next year are going to be slim. And going forward, it's going to be tough for anybody.

I was still in Stansbury's corner until the first UGA loss. And it was not just that we lost but the completely uninspired way we lost with him not even making an effort to coach. You could just tell that that loss was going to torpedo the whole season.

Watching our team this season made me almost physically sick because two things I love most outside of God and family are basketball and MSU. I just hope we get someone to come in here and restore the pride we all used to have in MSU basketball because of our work ethic and toughness.

Fourguys I would like to see back next year: Hood, Steele, Moultrie, and Shaun Smith. The rest can GTFO including the coaches and the useless walkons. Ever wonder why our walkons would get their asses kicked in intramurals? They serve no purpose even in practice unless we are preparing for Winston Academy. Furthermore, Wendell Lewis does not deserve to wear the jersey of a SWAC school and Sidney needs to just get on with his sanitation career.

This times infinity. The whole time that I was watching last night I was thinking about how much UMass looked exactly the way we used to look. Quick, energetic non-stop effort. We looked like Jello on benadryl.
