Zach Cozart from Ole Miss was involved. He was beaned by someone for Peoria, but apparently that was because someone from his team "admired a home run too long". Then the guy who hit the home run got HBP, thought it was intenional, but didn't charge the mound. However, the next batter hit a DP play and the runner who got hit made a really hard slide into the other teams SS breaking the guys leg. Then the managers got into it (one was coaching third base in front of the other teams dugout, and then the pitcher tried to fire a ball into the dugout, however, it hit a bar on front of the dugout and went into the stands and obviously hit someone. Then, all hell broke lose, 15 guys got ejected including both managers.

It was a mess.

Sidenote- one of the managers wasn't there. That's because it was Ryne Sandberg, who is in Cooperstown to get inducted into the HOF. So, it was really an assistant coach that got into the fracas.

Wow... That escalated quickly... I mean that really got out of hand fast... It jumped up a notch... It did, didn't it?... Brick, did you throw a trident?... Yea there were horses and a man on fire and i killed a guy with a trident... Brick, i've been meaning to talk to you about that. You should find a safe house, or a relative close by, and lay low for a while, cause you're probably wanted for murder.

According to what I read, it hit a metal bar in front of the dugout and then it glanced off of the bar into the stands.

So yes, it technically hit the dugout, and no it did not hit it's intended target IN the dugout.</p>
