The spin machine is wide open. "Yall aren't beating Alabama... They are gonna kick the **** out of you," "we are still in the drivers seat," "you've still gotta beat us and freeze doesn't lost at home" etc.

2 different OM fans stopped by my office before my computer was booted up.

My general response has been "oh, wow. You're still following football? After you lost to your real rival and we're still ranked #1."

Lot of rationalizing going on but if they can beat Auburn they have reason to

be optimistic but I just don't think they are going to beat Auburn. Hell, I don't think we would have beat Auburn if we hadn't jumped on them 21-0.

They played extremely hard against LSU but honestly caught a bunch of breaks with LSU turnovers and LSU's refusal to accept gift interceptions.

They still are susceptible to the power running game between the tackles and they can't run the ball with consistency. We have been saying it all year and it finally showed up with a loss.

How do UM fans feel about Bo? Do they like him? Is it more of "yeah he's a giant douchebag but he's our giant douchebag" sort of thing? Do they think Freeze threw him under the bus with that whole that wasn't the play we called BS?

We're superior to Ole Miss in every known way. Don't let their spin get to you. Just point out our moral, ethical, spiritual, and genetic superiority. If they fall back on the "we're from the same State so we're just as good as you", just point out that the Mississippi State people descended from the Confederate soldiers who fought in the western theatre. They were poorly led and surrendered a lot...but they came back to their farms and re-built their lives. Not only that, but 545 White Mississippians fought for the Union, and there was a lot of Unionist sentiment in this part of the State. Finally, Bulldogs came from the post-war immigration that came to Mississippi...Italians, Arabs, Chinese, etc. They have NO recollection of losing to America in the Civil War

The Rebels descended from those who fought in the Eastern theatre...they were gallant, but they were all killed, except for the cowards and cripples. They're descended from those cowards and cripples. This is coupled with their generations of in-breeding with their neighbors in the Grove from Gameday. has lead to a inferior fan base.

And let's look at the teams: Dan Mullen and his staff worked their tails off, scoured the Southeast, and found off-the-radar players that had the work ethic and a chip on their shoulder to prove other wrong, and worked them into the best team in America. On the other hand, Ole Miss let other teams scout for players, read all the Recruiting sites, and signed players based on their stars. This loss has destroyed Ole Miss' season. Look for them to lose at least 3 more games.

I think more importantly, how do Bo and Freeze feel about each other now? Is there a fracture in the relationship, does Bucky still trust Bo, did Bo already not trust Bucky hence the 'I'm going to do it my way' throw Saturday nt?

Not here ...

Gonna be a fun week. My two rebel co-workers are scrambling to stay away from me like I have the latter stages of Ebola.

Those two spent way too much time trying to convince me that the bears would destroy the corndogs.

You're talking about the same fan base who thought Marshall Henderson was all class. Of course they like Bo.

They think being a giant, cocky douche is prerequisite to being a 'leader'. It's part of their entitlement upbringing.
