Not surprising, he's up there with Bobby Petrino in being the biggest pieces of trash in college football. He'll probably start having heart palpitations again once Michigan starts beating him.
Or he gets caught (again) playing two-hand touch with a co-ed tight end...
-osu coeds are not nearly as attractive as UF girls...corn fed. Urban might be able to abstain.
I don't think Meyer is as mad at Stoops or Marrow for stealing so many of the good Ohio kids as he is at the rest of the Big Ten for letting us whoop their asses for these kids in Big Ten country. He's called out the rest of the conference numurous times for letting SEC schools come into their backyard and steal the recruits that were once the lifeblood of the Big Ten.

Sorry Landon Young had a bad experience there and hopefully he can prove Meyer wrong in the end. However, I can't get too ticked off at Meyer here. The guy is a 3x National Championship coach, so his ways are proven to work more than fail. I would take the guy tomorrow as our head coach.

LMAO You can't be serious. Urban takes the absolute best in Ohio then gets the best every where else. Look at the recruiting rankings since he's been there. Michigan, Notre Dame, and Michigan State gets seconds in Ohio, then every other kid gets spit up with a lot of different schools. Urbans not worried about any school in any league.

You had a strong contingency of the fan base that wanted Bobby Petrino as our head coach and he's 10x worse of a person than Urban Meyer. Petrino is unethical, a liar, and a snake. Urban is a prick to recruits. Mostly because if one 4 star turns him down, he has 3 more lined up. If Urban Meyer was hired here and won, he would fit in just fine. Don't get on on that high of a moral horse.

This is going to stir this board up, but you're looking at two very equal fan bases that are disliked around the country because they act the same with huge amounts of arrogance, but it happens to be different sports, UK basketball and OSU football. Both fan bases have every right to be arrogant. Another thing, is take a look around and you will see a likeness between Urban and Cal on how much they're disliked and their arrogance. You don't think Cal has said those things to recruits that want to play at UK, please!

Comparing Cal to Urban is as dumb as Urban's first statement. And by the way no Cal doesn't tell recruits those things. Don't believe me read what the recruits are saying for themselves. Cal first and foremost tells them about the pressure at UK and that it's not for everyone. If you don't invite living under the microscope at UK then you are better off going somewhere else. Cal gets recruits because he doesn't lie to them. To paraphrase a recruit in this class he committed to Cal because Cal was the only coach that told him what he didn't want to hear. That's the exact opposite of Meyer.
However good a coach he is doesnt mean he has to be a condescending prick. To say what he did about UK and call landon insubstantial shows he has zero class...not that everyone didnt know that.
Nothing about this story is surprising or could make me think even less about Urban. One of the truly unsavory sleazeballs in modern sports, he is exactly the type of person who's involvement makes following the game not fun. There is a reason despite winning some games that he is universally reviled from coast to coast, why a couple of years ago so many people across the country took joy from the picture & video of him sitting miserably eating soggy cold leftover Papa John pizza in a golf cart after being upset by Mich St.
