I had a buddy make a great point yesterday about hiring a coach

He said if you think about it- if some school in the SEC were to go looking for a coach right now, this is the best year to do it. Illinois and SC are the only major schools looking at this point. Next season- it could be 5-6 teams out there hunting, making the task much, much harder

and should be fired for sure if they dont

LSU has all 5 starters returning- O'Bryant is going to be a bad mf'er next season

Kennedy has 4 starters returning- and is bringing in a juco guard that supposedly can shoot the basketball- that is what he is sorely missing with that team

They both should be very good next year- no Mora excuses

Don't expect a whole lot from the Mississippi JUCO transfer. Best I can tell he'll be a 5th year senior as a JUCO transfer. I looked at his career stats last week.

1 - redshirted at Utah
2 - played at Utah - shot about 37% overall and 33% on 3s.
3 - sat out at Texas Tech as a transfer
4 - played at JUCO - had a good season
5 - Mississippi - ???</p>

OM is losing their starting frontcourt, though, so I don't know that the expectation of the tourney should be based on their talent. Expecting it just because it's been so long, yes, based on talent, not so much.

you cannot be in a juco after 2 years of eligibilty are used up- whether it's 2 straight or 1 redshirt + 2 years
