our secondary is so bad that it is either give up 400 yds rushing tonight or 600 yards passing. This is a fairly tallented Auburn team that will win in this league this year. We are a team that has had a losing record for seven out of eight years and the talent reflects this. We are playing around 20 true freshmen and redshirt freshmen in our rotation. Why? Because the upperclassmen are simply not major SEC talent. We can fill up these mesage boards with decisions on who sucks and who should be fired, but the talent is simply not there and it will take a few years to get there. I want to win now, but we are looking at a 3-4 win season and a defense that will give up alot of points to the talented teams in the league plus GT and Houston. I agree that I had better not see another three man D front, but we need more talent and it won't be here this year. I do expect to see the offense click much better and our special teams look like they may become the strength of the team. I heard Georgia Coach Mark Richt say that going from a co-ordinator to HC was a huge adjustment and his decisions that first year for sure cost him 2 wins in his first season. Give Dan some time and let's watch him grow. If staff changes need to be made, then I'm sure they will be. Everyone just needs to calm down.
