why don't you try PRAYING for the teams you cover? Your attitude toward

he answers... Kyle, I just don't see you promote State like I see other
beat writers promote the teams they cover. Don't you win when the team
you cover wins and plays in bowl games, and tournaments? Do you not
think you have any influence at all? You do work for one of the largest
media outlets in the US. Obviously the teams have to do their<span class="text_exposed_hide">... <span class="text_exposed_link"><a>See More</a></span></span><span class="text_exposed_show">
part, but when it's as close as it was this year, I absolutley think
all factors come in to play... and I do think you (media) have an

appreciate the prayers, Mary. And as for promotion, Reed, that's the
role of the school's marketing department and media relations, etc. Not
the newspaper. And it's like that everywhere.

cool. I think you underestimate the influence you and the media can
have though. I know you aren't at a Dukie V level, but when I see him
on TV preaching about how UF deserves a bid over State... well, it just
goes to show ya... the media can and does have an influence. It may be

before pointing fingers toward any school.... RUDE is
correct........... You can see and read anything on line... Including
the Blog............. Remember that what you print and say does have a
