I hate to ask this...

Mainly because it's pissing me off, but what makes OM's offense so damn successful? They can move the ball against any team.

Kiffen is an actual offensive genius

[bruiser.sixpack]

Because they are balanced. They are playing 11 against 11 while we continue to play 10 against 11.

They also aren’t making such a drastic system change. Matt Corall is a good QB and they have established successful WR talent.

Stuff we cant see from the tv - play design is exceptional along with play calling

Balanced Offense.

[L4Dawg]

We hired a clown, not a pirate. Leach has always been a gimmick. Gimmicks don't work in the SEC. Fire Cohen NOW. He is in way over his head. He was a coach in a minor sport. Whoever enabled that, needs to be fired before Cohen.

They can force a defense to make mistakes because they are able to run the ball and keep them off balance. It’s a novel concept.

[greenbean.sixpack]

They have better WRs and a QB that fits their system. Our best player, by far, is not a focal point of our offense. We will have to recruit WRs.

This is why I thought the Leach hire was questionable. Cohen brought in a one dimensional coach without the pieces to fit that dimension of play. It’s looking like State will need more offensive talent than they can recruit in order to make it work.
