But listening to Jack has been painful at times. He's referred to MTSU as Tennessee, said the 3rd quarter was over when there were 17 seconds left in it, and also said there were a few minutes to go before halftime while we were well into the 3rd quarter.

I have a ton of respect for the legend that he is but, listening to him and watching the game PPV against TN, I would swear that we were watching different games. That said, he should be allowed to call state games for as long as he would like.

The 2 bozos calling the game on ESPNU were not any better. They called an INT. for us at the start of the game when MTSU actually caught the ball. They also called a TD when the MTSU kid dropped it in the end zone.

Jack's basketball calling is so much better than football, it doesn't compare to me. I've felt the way you stated before watching a football game and wondered were we watching the same game. Except for getting a name wrong, you have a good description of what is going on in hoops. To me though, I can live with the mistakes, definately like listening to him
