I want to try and understand something. How is it that we have less than 8,000 people in the Bulldog Club? Is this really the number of people we have that give to the university every year through this organization? I just can't seem to wrap my head around this. I am not shy to say that I just can't give a lot right now. However,I have given less than $200 dollars and I'm still in the Top 80%.

Now I'm sure there are people that have a similar situation to mine, and I think that plays a factor, especially with those just recently graduating. The issue I have is really the lack of people that donate through the Bulldog Club. Why can we not get people to join the Bulldog Club and donate back to the university? Is it a lack of informationto students that aregraduating? Iwas hopingsomeone might have an idea why it seems we can't get people to join and give back to MSU. I think this is the biggest problem we have in terms of funding, and I'm really hoping we can address this as we move forward.

families donate together and some friends donate together.

For instance, me and a buddy of mine are donating together this year and will continue to do so for the forseeable future, but we're only donating through my name. This will enhance our bulldog club position and put us in a better spot to get better tickets than if we did it separately (or atleast that's the theory).

Other than what I give and where I stand. I used to think it was pathetic too and probably in the lower 2 or 3 of the SEC until I went to the Georgia game and they ran an ad on their ribbon boards thanking their 9000 bulldog club members. So... Take that for what it's worth.

Plus, you have to take into account corporate sponsors, luxury seating, advertisements, and big name doners (seals and such). All that is not to mention the cost of season to mets and parking which has little to no overhead associated with it so it is almost 100 percent profit.

I think untill last year the big money dawgs dotated to the Bulldog Foundation which was a seperate deal. They were combined last year under the Bulldog Club.
