and, with a very few exceptions, this is the first time I am confident we are going to win a game, and in this case a series. I really feel good about next week. The planets are aligned for us.

What's incredible to me is that not only are we playing for a national title but I feel as confident going into this game as I have about any game since before our SEC schedule started. It's a strange feeling for this state fan.

I am glad all of you are so confident. I myself are scared to death of UCLA and their pitching. I guess it is the 'waiting for the other shoe to drop' mentality. I sure hope you guys are right.

I'm cautiously optimistic. UCLA's pitching is outstanding, but none of them are as good as Boyd from OSU and he had his 2 worst outings of the season against us. The difference is their offense isn't nearly as good as OSU's or Indiana's either for that matter. Should be a very good series, but I think Vegas has it right. MSU is the slight favorite.

I agree, I don't think their pitching will be better than Oregon State's, but we will just have to stay disciplined at the plate.

I think you meant "Moore" not "Boyd" though.
