....and Bob Rathbun just informed me that MSU and UGA had only met 11 times prior to last Saturday. The things you learn.

we had not beaten them since 1974. That and Herschel Walker, Tech and 10, Jackie's Wild bumpy bus ride in 1997 where we lost 47-0, and Croom punting from the 30 also factored in.

last Saturday. The record stands 16 - 6 in favor of the eastern dawgs. The last time we beat them was in 1974 ( the year I was sports editor for the Reflector) Bob Tyler was coach, Bo Carter was SID. Rocky Felker was running the veer and it was a great game. Good times before the Kang era.

....you got that I was really calling Bob Rathbun out for being an idiot who clearly can't read the game notes.

An idiot from AU was here a couple of weeks ago saying something about AU being to the west of MSU or MSU being to the east of AU (can't remember which)

Until a few weeks before football season, I haven't been around since the end of basketball season. There are a ton of things that get talked about on here that make no sense to me. Knowing the history of the board though, I just assume that there is a story that goes along with it, so I leave it alone.

is partially right (which is par for FOX) in that we have played only 11 times in Athens. I guess he doesn't think Starksville counts. And two brightened your day with some more trivia, the two dawgs have played 2 times in Atlanta and 9 times in Mississippi (mostly in Vegas). .
