"excuses" about the lack of players. First off, yeah he has said it, but he keeps getting ask by the media and he's just being honest with his answers. He talked about Hogue in his pre-game talk with Jim Ellis, said he love him but he has some "limits" to his game but if they asked him jump off a building he would. Bottom line folks, RP and Raffo didn't recruit, we might have 3 SEC players on this team, Cohen is getting the most for what he has to work with. I like what he said in "we will get the players to win in this league and we will get enough pitchers to develop slowly with mid week games. He said it 4 or 5 times we would get where we needed to be. I like some of ya'll don't think alot of the players will be back next year, look how many he plans on signing.

I see it as Cohen stating fact, not throwing his team under the bus. I'm sure he would rather be talking about how deeply talented we are. As an aside, I have often wondered what Polk's record would be with this team.

there will be a lot of people getting removed from the squad once this recruiting class comes in. And its going to be a real good recruiting class. Some will be highly impressed with the job Cohen is doing in recruiting.

Gentleman, there two directions you can go from here- Jonesboro or Birmingham. Take your pick. I would pick Birmingham.

to give us 7 innings of a quality start this weekend in Fayetteville either.

Sometimes one needs to have a fire lit under ones *** to get results. Todd4State advised.

like a Bentley GT convertible. and there's the analogy -- if he keeps telling them they suck, they're going to stop trying.

with this attitude in any sport that I can remember. And I love it. As for Hogue, I wish we had about 25 Hogues on the team. He has the attitude that will make him a winner at whatever he does. He may not end up in MLB, but a group of his type will take us far, and that is what Cohen needs to succeed here. Anybody that thinks Cohen's comments to questions he was asked by the media are too over the top are worthless and weak. Now drop and give me 20!!
