Does anyone have the story?

I sure hope I heard wrong, since that doesn't even happen in Little League...

No story to tell really. We had a guy on first and then batted out of order. We hit a single and instead of having runners on 1st and 2nd, they called the batter out and we were stuck with just one base runner.

Oh, Cohen went crazy and tried to remodel the dugout when this happened. If it wasn't bolted down it was rearranged at a rapid rate of speed.(nice way of putting it)

Good opportunity for someone to step up and say he is not in control of the situation.

So far, he has squeezed every drop out of a subpar team that he inherited. I love the aggressive way that he has these kids playing.

One thing that was pretty obvious today was that we don't have the pitching to sweep a SEC weekend. We just ran out of pitchers in the second game today but a great effort from the team today.

i really like the aggressive nature of the team....for example going from 1st to 3rd on a passed ball that didnt get out of the dirt behind the plate

How the Hell do you bat out of turn? Why did the whole team, fans, etc. yell that we weren't doing it right? How did the coaches allow it?

Was watching on M2M, 1st off, I don't think there were enough fans there to yell at anyone. MSUAthletics says attendance was 1708 and I would be willing to bet it was half of that.

It was odd, it was dead quiet and it just happened. As far as why did the coaches allow it? My guess is that they did not notice they were out of order, but Coach Tanner for SC most certainly did. Matter of fact, when the wrong batter walked to the plate, he began to come out of the dugout and changed his mind. I think he quickly realized that if he let us bat the wrong guy that it meant an out, regardless of what happened.

I am not positive but I think Brent Brownlee batted out of order and stepped in ahead of Ryan Powers.

On a side note, state reports the attendance for the first game today, or the one that resumed at 12:00, the same time as we played in the SEC Champ, was 1609. I have trouble believing that there were more than a few hundred people at that game. Maybe someone was there and can report back.
