Once again, our only losses this season have to been to team currently ranked in the Top 20. We don't suck, but our starting 22 just don't match up with the deeper teams in the SEC. I think we are 1 legit deep threat WR (praying this is Morrow), and 3 OL away from being really good.I will also add Russell getting another year in this system because he held the ball way too long tonight. ButCarmon blows, Lawrence isn't SEC caliber, and we need someone bigger and stronger to play centerto stop some of these teams like Bama from busting up the middle.I'm hoping Day beefs up in the offseason and can become an enforcer inside.
I have zero concerns about any positionon the defense. But our offense is holding us back right now, especially the OL.Bama trashed our OL tonight, and it's killing us. We are missing Tobias badly because I think Saulsberry could have held down the fort up the middle well this year. If Dan can ever get some legit talent in here on the OL, we could be a really solid team. We've got some playmakers, we've got what I think is an SEC caliber QB in Russell, and we've got a great defense. But until we get something more than just a serviceable OL, we are going to be stuck in the 6-6 range.
