Looking at the schedule Kansas is the only team that WVU seems to be better than. Unfortunately that game is at the end so no confidence building game soon.

If you go on the road and lose at Baylor, come home for off week then lose against TCU without making a QB switch and offensive identity switch (read option) the wheels will fall off.

Problem is 3-9 in year 3 with the amount of confusion shown is grounds for firing. Unfortunately our AD and President are in bed together so Brown is Lyons guy, Lyons should be on hot seat too but nobody is going anywhere.

We are screwed.

The only thing that will save us is going on the road and beating Baylor, getting it together in off week and making a run.

Anything other than that and it's the Pre Nehlen years all over again.

The season remaining is not looking good--where are the wins?

@ Baylor--one loss by 10 to OK State
TCU--close loss to the Texas team that stomped Tech
ISU
#12 OSU--undefeated
@ KSU--similar close game with OU--Brown hasn't won on the road since year 1
#21 Texas (just beat Texas Tech 70-35)
@ Kansas

Maybe 2-3 potential wins in that schedule

WVU will win maybe 2 road games and maybe 1 home game. That is best case IMO. Year 3 embarrassment even for the biggest homer hillbillies out there.

Brown hasn’t lost a team yet, so hopefully they’ll turn it around. I’m just not seeing how without personnel changes. Fingers crossed they figure it out.

My fear is that he is losing the team, especially after the TTU game. The defense has kept us in games and they dont seem to be playing with the pep they were early on already. Then Greene doesnt convert a 4th down because the D was right in his face, and Neal Brown runs over screams at Greene on the sideline for it, not too mention calls Greene out in a press conference a couple games ago. Meanwhile super senior Daygay is sucking all year and gets cottled and defended by Brown even though he continues to make the same stupid mistakes over and over. Not a good look. He will lose the team at some point if he hasnt already.

I didn't know kneel reamed out Greene. I've referred to kneel's QB subbing and minute allocation to petty middle school and Little League dad coaches sacrificing wins for their son's glory. Now, I have no doubt.

Go home and suck a pitt.

There’s the humor I’ve come to respect brother!!! Honestly Allen I questioned after year one if this guy was ready for a Big12 job. Easy to go back to my posts regarding Brown. Troy to Big12 football is a huge jump. In retrospect it appears I was right. I believe Brown should get a couple more years to see his recruiting through. Hopefully this class stays together for him but his 3 year results are going to be pathetic.

YOU LEFT OUT: LOST BY 3, 3 AND 6 AND WON EVERYTHING ELSE. THAT WOULD BE WVU. SOUNDS LIKE A BETTER RESUME THAN BAYLOR.

Baylor went 3-0 by beating Texas State, Texas Southern and Kansas.
Boy, there’s a resume builder. Hell, even the inconsistent WVU offense would be 3-0 against that schedule.

CFE, what happened to your red font and your signature that had all the quirky comments with the scores and schedule?

THE ONLY IMPOSSIBILITY IS THAT YOU WILL CHEER FOR WVU AND SEE THE POSITIVES.

vault hunter doesn't seem very smart.

UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE YEAR. BUT STIRRING THE STINK IS AN ADDICTION WITH SOME PEOPLE. I'M NO NEAL BROWN FAN YET (NOT BECAUSE OF HIM BUT BECAUSE HE HAS THE WORST 3-SEASON START FOR A WVU COACH IN 50 YEARS!) BUT I KNOW THAT ANYTHING FROM 0-12 TO 12-0 IS POSSIBLE FOR EVERY TEAM IN AMERICA. TILL THE FIRST GAME KICKOFF! I JUST WATCH, PRAY FOR MY ALMA MATER, CHEER THE GOOD PLAYS, BE IN ANGUISH OVER THE BAD PLAYS. BUT IT'S STILL THE GREATEST SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT IN THE WORLD FOR ME.

You pray for your alma mater? Really? Pray? That's a bit overblown and warped wouldn't you say? Btw, your post is a clinical study in poor grammar and immature sentence structure.
