It's not woke. It's entitlement. Saban did a masterful job of getting 5 star pre-madonnas and keeping them grounded. His bootcamp-style coaching kept the majority of those guys in check. Kirby struggles with it. Look at all the crap he has to put up with. And things are even worse with NIL. Saban got out at the right time.
I am sure Mike Price wasn't woke. He enjoyed ladies who worked their way through college.

Pretty sure DEI and "woke" are the opposite of personal responsibility and reality. But it's interesting our trio of lefties got their feelings hurt by the use of woke for a losing team. Good job
