mistook the initial ten yard marker for the f'n LOS marker in the Houston game. As simple as that.

I'm not fully convinced we win the Houston game just on the basis of that one call. We certainly would've had a better shot, but scoring that TD would've made it 24-14 but there were still 25 minutes of football left to play, and our secondary that game was abysmal. Houston could've still easily come back from that deficit.

i wish we could see the line judge on the near sideline. i'd bet the house that he's standing on the 30 (at the original LOS).

what sucks is that lee's back foot looks like it's still on the 30 anyway. his explanation to mullen that "it wasn't even close" is complete and total BS.

You knew when they tried to give Houston a 5th down on their first freakin drive that they'd end up screwing us over somehow. Of course you can't be 100% certain, but we would have won that game.</p>

it's still a bad call even from the 30. The ENTIRE body has to be past the line when the ball is released. His back foot is still behind the 30. Worst call by a ref I have ever seen in person.

as we were doing and run the clock. If we add that play and not fumbling on the exchange twice...it's a sure win. That game bothers me that most from this year.

I agree but want to present another reason for the difference between 5-7 and 7-5.

so I'm not sure you can count that as a sure win without that call. I mean all things being equal, sure, but things don't work that way. In the LSU game, wasn't there time left on the clock even if y'all had scored? Not much, I know, but enough for them to get in FG range like they did against Arkansas on Saturday? I really don't recall.
