Auburn has to be the most overrated team on the planet.

6 of their wins were by a total of 34 points.

Their wins against UGA, Bama, aTm, and State were all basically last play, last minute pull it out of their arse types.

Of those four wins, all but aTm will be away games this year.

2014 possible losses....

@Kansas State .... possible, not probable
LSU .... State wins no matter who loses
@State .... Auburn can't continue to pull crap out of their backsides
USCe .... very possible, not probable
@Ole Miss .... it's @ VHS, anything is possible
@UGA .... probable, after easy home win vs. aTm, Tigers lose to Dogs for the 2nd time in 2014
@Bama .... Tigers lose in Tuscaloosa, SEC west title is not on the line, book it

over / under for the above 7 games is 3.5

Auburn will finish either 3rd or 4th in the west.

Of course, I would rather be lucky than good......

You can't fault them for being Lucky as ****

Especially against Ga.

They made a deal with the devil.
Gotta be payday sometime.

I completely agree, every break went their way last year, and without them they were destined for 7-5 to 9-3. I think they'll be a better team this year, but I would expect the pendulum to swing back to the norm.

I agree they are somewhat overrated..........

Still going to be a very tough game to win. I also as someone else said I do not hold any ill will for them for being lucky. Oh that we could ever get on that kind of streak. That lucky streak might have cost the SEC its NC streak because I don't think the best team in the SEC was there. Gotta figure the war tigers might be on the other side of lady luck this year. Plus they have a brutal schedule.

We will find out soon enough.

y'all are completely missing who you are dealing with. To Auburn, last year was not lucky. They earned EVERY one of those wins and they ended the way they should have. No Luck involved. Same type of delusion that felt that Cam asked us for money but went to Auburn because they are family...

Malzahn's last 3 years at Auburn they are 14-1 in 1 possession games.

7-0 in '10
2-0 in '11
5-1 in '13

Only 1 possession loss in there was the '13 championship.

Lucky or not, they win. This is why I don't put much stock in "moral victories". The difference between winning by a few and losing by a few is most times a lot greater than it seems.

Malzahn's teams find a way to win. They are opportunistic. They wait for you to give them something, then they make the most of it.

And their over/under win total came out at ten this year. Easiest money on the board (not that I encourage gambling). No way they win 10. I think it is down to 9.5 now, but thats still a decent bet.

I get what you are saying. But I don't think the Georgia and Bama wins of 2013 fall into the "opportunistic" category. Both wins were self-proclaimed miracles.

Being opportunistic is great. Being lucky as hell is even better.

How about I remind you that 4 of our 6 regular season wins were by less than a touchdown or in overtime.

you are proving my point. None of those four were due to a twice deflected, 80 yard Hail Mary or a 108 yard return off a missed field goal. We won those four by winning close games, just like auburn did several times last year as well. My point was simply that two of auburns wins (uga and bama) included self-proclaimed miracles at the end of the game. They were a 9-3 team, not a 11-1 team, which was the whole point of this thread.
