First, many of you know of Shane that calls at around 4. He has from what I understand terminal lung cancer. Bobby from Homewood who has been with the show for a long time but has taken a break, called in. He asked if it is karma for Shane to die knowing that Auburn will be the last national champion he will ever know. Either this is the biggest piece of **** on earth or Shane is healed and it was all set up and he will be back.</p>

Someone asked about him about 2 weeks ago. They did not go into details about iton the show but I looked on one of the Bama boards that day and they said he had terminal lung cancer.</p>

that would be Jim from Crestwood DIAF. I hate hearing about Shane. He was a good caller even though he is/was a giant Bama homer.

F-bomb's brother in law?
I seem to recall having heard that at one time, but didn't know if it were some kind of inside joke.

Ihate it for him. He brings a lot more to the show than idiots like Jim from Crestwood, Tammy, and I Man.

Shane IS PF's brother-in-law. I think he is paid by the program to call in each day and ask pre-arranged questions.

My son, who is as cynical as I am, is persuaded that most of the "reality" cop shows on TV, and other shows like the storage-shed auctions, the pawn shop shows, and others of that genre, are heavily scripted.

So, I've wondered, in this age where our POTUS uses a teleprompter for public appearances, if our boy F-bomb isn't scripting some of his callers, also.
Not that I care. I listen for amusement.

did anyone really think the blair witch was ever "real"? they presented it in the movie as "real" but they were open in the interviews leading up to the movie that it wasn't real.

but yeah, it's no surprise that most "reality tv" is heavily scripted. not in an actual word for word script, but in creating situations.

Trust me. I'm working with one right now for my day job. It's my sixth project for three different programs.<div>
</div><div>There are production meetings, plot points achieved, "themes" set up (which is an ambiguous way of creating storylines), and often times, situations or "events" are reshot entirely. Dialogue is looped, and confrontations are edited together.</div>
