Your wool is PRETTYYY thick on this one.

I have a bet with a bunch of Rebel friends from early this season that he gets drafted period(before they really got to see him)... I really like my chance on that one.

I think he's about a 4th round pick -- which is still good, seeing how he would be the first MSU qb drafted in exactly THIRTY years.

Considering he's the 12th rated QB for next years draft he'd have to have a heisman type year to pass that many names. Your odds are poor. Like your optimism though.

I've said 3rd round with the 2nd round being a possibility with a very good year.

I wonder when the last time an MSU QB was drafted as a QB. Threadgill was drafted as a DB. He did play some emergency QB in 1 game for the 49ers. Threw 2 passes. Both were picked off. I'm guessing the last MSU QB drafted as a QB was probably Joe Reed in the 60s or Jackie Parker in the 50s.

better hope for an OC change.

because if Les is here expect Dak's role to continue to expand into more touches.

And for MSU to get back to a full run of spread-option in 2014-until Dan is no longer here.
Dak is more of a passer than Relf so we will continue to have some balance, though

Did you clarify what league? You may get by on a technicality if the CFL comes calling. I think he'll get drafted but 1st round is pushing the limits.

Joe Reed was drafted as a QB in the 11th round in 1971. Rockey Felker was drafted as a DB.

I would say Joe Reed back in the early 70's!

Played with San Fran and Detroit if my memory serves me right!

Interesting. Well his line will be better. You better hope that the coaching staff has more confidence in the offense to actually call the plays to make this happen. Also better hope that our receivers all of a sudden figure out how to get open next year.

Russell has a lot of QB names in front of him to leapfrog. Anyone want to look up what the previous #10-12 rated QB's have been drafted at in the last 5 years?

Good news for you Bray was one of the QB's

He would have to jump and he's out. Granted his interviews might have hurt him in '14.
