I made my selection and am very happy with what I ended up with. Much better than last year! Now what do I do? I've really enjoyed watching the selection process on the selection website for the last week but now that I've picked, the system won't let me log in and look any more. That sucks!

I'm curious to see how long it will take the rest of the 100's and 200's to go and if they will be gone by the 1000 level (tomorrow). I'm also curious how some of these single seats in a section will be handled. Who buy's a single seat?

I also heard today that this system of picking will be used at the Hump for the next re-seating.

Right, but who buys them? Bulldog club member that sits alone? Bought and sold on Stubhub?

I just did a head count of the 100s..

there are roughly 230 seats left in all of the 100s. I also checked out section 4 and its filling up fast. So for those keeping score at home. Last year, I was ranked 2400ish and sat in the middle of section 3. This year, I upped my donation by 9k, now have a rank of 1700, and will probably be sitting in the middle of section 3 aGAIN. I, for the life of me, cant figure out how that happened.

Here are some rough numbers for the West chairbacks.

107 is full (50 yard line)
106 and 108 are full
105 and 109 are full - this morning 105 had 7 seats, 109 was already full
--> 7 selected in 109 and 0 in 110 today

104 has 9 seats, 110 has 17 seats – this morning they had 23 and 17
--> 14 selected in 109 and 0 in 110 today

103 has 34 seats, 111 has 5 seats – this morning there were 61 in 103 and 36 in 11
--> 27 selected in 103 and 31 in 110 today

102 has about 120 seats, 112 has about 45 - this morning there were 122 in 102 and 90 in 112
--> 2 selected in 102 and 45 in 112 today

101 has 15 seats, 113 has 9 seats (these are the small narrow sections on the end) - this morning there were and 15 in each section
--> 0 selected in 101 and 6 in 113 today

TOTAL REMAINING: 178 left on the south end, 76 on the north end. 254 total.

That’s ~132 in the morning hours that were selected.

If another 132 go this afternoon, gonna be about 120 left for tomorrow, with an estimated depletion around noontime. At some point people are going to pass them up because there are three here and two there and they are gonna want them together. Or perhaps they don’t want to be in 101 or 113.

I'm betting a good deal of it is people buying more seats that they couldn't in the past. We always wanted more seats together, but couldn't get them where we wanted unless the people next to us decided to move. We bought those extra seats this year. Don't worry, we aren't selling them. It's for two new additions to the family, any guests we bring, or to let some friends sit with us if they agree to sell their tickets to people in maroon.

What about the 200s and both CLs?

I'd like to know how they look after 5:00 today as well. The 1000 mark should come late today or early tomorrow morning. It would be nice if we could get screen shots of what's taken at the 1000 mark.

I couldn't get in after I selected either. In fact, I was never able to get in ... the seat selection systems wasn't even online when I selected. I'm sure it's so we, the ones who have already been seated, don't clog up the system for the others.

But it would be nice to see how it's going. I'm sure there will be plenty of updates here though.

Blame it on the TTFers. Ha. Everything's their fault. Seriously though, the higher donors, those in the 100s, 200s, and Sections 3, 4, and 5 might very well buy multiple tickets, since they're obviously "richer" than others.

I still don't know what the limit is to the number of tickets a single BDC account can buy. Used it be, it was explicitly stated depending on what your level of giving was, but it doesn't seem to be that way any more.

I think the limit is 12 but it's based on what you had last year or if you're a TTFr. I had 8 last year so all I could get was 8.

That sorta makes sense (unless you're a huge donor and want more) since there supposedly has been a waiting list for season tickets for several years.

Have to wonder what they'll do with what's left over, if there are any. As someone said, perhaps they'll try to sell them at reduced prices? Better to have someone in a seat than no one at all. And they don't have to worry about angering the fan base if they do that ... about 90% are already mad.
