but it wasn't Mississippi State. He grew up in Florissant, MO...same place that Cheryl Crowe came from as a teacher. He was racing as a teenager around the bullrings of the South--and winning ....same with Mark Martin. Saw them both here in Jackson, Mobile and Pensacola when those 1/2 mile tracks were kicking. Good equipment and superior talent.

They both made Winston Cup racing before they were 20..no degree required. Thus neither have a degree. No time.
