in terms of quality of play, but a pitch clock doesn't belong in baseball.

What I'm for is better umpiring with consistent strike zones. They slow the game down as much as the players. They are the ones with the power to keep the game moving.

It makes sense for the SEC tournament b/c you are trying to squeeze so many games in. And also, the tourney is more an exhibition than anything else. Hardly is there ever anything on the line for any team so its not that big a deal.

But what is the need to speed up a single game? I know they aren't trying to generate fan interest and I don't think that would do it on the college level anyway.

as part of the strategy for rhythm hitters/pitchers... So I guess that will be an adjustment.
