that his drunkenness, disorientation from the wreck, combined with intense fear caused him to do something really really stupid, after he had done something really really stupid. At the very least, he left one person dying who actually lived. I guess there is no way of knowing if the other two were alive when he left.

Well, I was just trying to keep up with it a little and was frustrated that nobody knew what happened. Glad to know it didn't just fizzle out, like a Hinds county prosecution.
