Marcello couldn't be more drab if he tried. Him and Locke are neck and neck for the journalist I don't want to read, but do from time to time and then ask myself why.

Reading Marcello is like watching paint dry.

I like Veazey and his sense of humor. I also, and this is just pure speculation on my part, believe that Veazey worked a lot harder to get the story. He seems to have put in more time.

Not, defending him, I know some on here believe he was out to get us as a program. I just think he was good at what he did. I enjoyed his blog, twitter, and articles in the Clarion Ledger.

Now, I cannot hardly make it through Marcello's stuff. Just personal preference I guess.

Something tells me this won't be Veazey's last stop. I'm sure he loves it there with all the metro guys around him but he's pretty talented and won't be working for the CL long.

Not only is Marcello's writing a little dull, he is also slow. Locke is beating him to the story time after time..

While I dont mind Marcello, I definitely enjoyed Veazey much more. I thought he did a great job

Of course Sekou covered us in the best 3 year run of MSU football in the last 70 years. That could have something to do with it.

When Sekou was our beat writer, he didn't have twitter or a blog at his disposal. Both were good. And Ian was okay.
