I know a MAN that moved to a community. A man of Christian faith. He's not perfect, but you could see his faith through his actions, through his community ,through his football team. Some didn't talk nice about him, they only saw his faults. I had a conversation with him before he left this community. He was being called to another place. Don't think he knew what God had in store for him but he trusted his faith. This community flourished in ways not of worldly successes but in what God has promised us. He was not only the coach of our football team, he was an assistant coach to our Christain community. There is not dought our team has been blessed, but some of the things I see going on with taking down our team creed on campus, prayers led by coaches and community,I think he saw this coming when he told me a couple of reasons he was leaving. Our church's and Christian leaders in our Community are really bringing people to Christ. There are those who are trying to take Jesus out of our schools. I know these words could cost me a lot of worldly things, but I don't care. Let's all pray for our leaders. Let's pray for our kids and our enemies.

I'm with you John, I have no clue what's going on but I'm on your side.

So I have absolutely nothing idea what or who you are talking about but it does remind me of something that happened to me earlier this year...

A game I was at, during the moment of silence, just before the national anthem, one of the band leaders loudly recited the Lord's Prayer... Someone beside me commented that they were surprised that they were allowed to do this and that no one has made an issue out of it....

Only thing I could think to say was "That's because their are more Christians, people of Faith, in the world than not... I proudly say that I am one of those people!

At KM games during the “moment of silence “ some person begins a audible prayer to The Lord from the heart, don’t think he cares about being PC, we need more of that. NASCAR has a live, Christian prayer before every race and that’s on national tv. Be nice to have that freedom back.

Stand your ground!! I'm proud that our team prays. We have a preacher serving as team chaplain that comes out on the field with the team. So many of our kids have nobody that truly loves them. By that I mean nobody pushing them to succeed, to make sure they do good in class, show respect. These are all things a child should learn at home. School is not daycare. Stand your ground dogs79.

It's right here in our community and I'm sure similar stories in other areas
I love it! We, as believers, have a mandate from the Lord to preach the Gospel to every creature -- that includes children and teens! We must pour into them! If we don't, satan and the world surely will!!! Thanks for this awesome testimony of what God is doing in a community!!!!
