This may be one of the times it actually helps us. I think the fact that it has been looming has not helped Hunter at all...especially when he started slumping. But once its out of the way, whatever position he is drafted in, I think a huge weight will be lifted. He hit the ball hard Monday. And things definitely look better. But I'm still glad the draft is taking place before the Super Regional. In my opinion, having it right now certainly won't hurt and just might bring our guy back.

It isn't just about Renfroe...
THere are a number of contributing players who will drafted. Its a distraction that does not just implicate Renfroe and rounds 11-40 will take place during our game Sat. I'm sure Cohen would rather have undivided attention in the days leading up to Saturday and most certainly on Saturday. Here's hoping it affects UVA equally.

Overall I completely agree. I'm just talking about the circumstances this year...a potential top 15 pick who had started slumping. If worrying about his draft stock had been contributing to his pressing, then getting it behind him can't be anything but a relief..wherever he's drafted.
Agreed it could be a weight off the shoulders of Renfroe and top talent.
