the asking price for tickets for today's game have fallen significantly on the SPS ticket exchange. Looks like our 0-3 skid as taken a toll on the fan-base. Also, I wonder how many will make the trip to Jville if we get the invite to play Northwestern? When State fans cant get excited about playing in a New Years Day bowl- there's a problem. We've only played in 2 of them since the 1940's
I for one am excited about a New Years Day bowl. I'm not sure why some are getting so arrogant about our success that the matchup doesn't intrigue them. If we started out 6-1 and then beat A&M I wonder if the attitude would have been different with the same 7-3 record.

the Peach bowl is a better bowl and has a larger pay out and time slot. The Gator Bowl was great a couple of years ago because it was our first mid/upper tier bowl game in decades, and we were playing a big named school. But if we lose to Ark or Ole Miss, we don't deserve a mid-upper tier bowl game. I hope Michigan St. beats Northwestern and we win out, which will likely match us up with Spartans in Jville. The only way I see that we have a shot at the Peach is that if the SEC gets three in the BCS, not sure that will happen.
