who either live for Stanbury to fail or overreact after every loss. I know I shouldn't because they are just too stupid to know better, but I just can't help it. Nobody is happy about this loss, but some of you are just being stupid about it.

really does give us that. The problem is that his talent consistently underachieves. However, we are consistently successful in the SEC West, we consistently recruit fairly well(we have athletes anyway), we consistently rebound well, and we consistently play solid defense. Those are the positives.

I'm frustrated because Stans doesn't seem to try to better himself as a coach. He consistently has the same weaknesses. We have no plan on offense, particularly zone offense. As a result, we consistently turn the ball over more than we should. Defensively, we only play man well. We suck in zone. (I think that also affects our offensive practice against the zone). Our in-game adjustments and substitution patterns are consistently atrocious.

Everytime we lose a game because of his deficiencies as a coach, it frustrates the hell out of me. And...most games we lose are NOT because of his coaching ability. On the flipside, most games we win are NOT because of his coaching ability. Talent really does go a long way.

I agree. I will say this. We played like absolute garbage defensively tonight. It sounded like 4 guys standing around waiting for Jarvis to play their defense for them. Hopefully we get it corrected, and move on. The good thing about college basketball is that one loss doesn't hurt you this early in the season. And all you RPI geniuses, shut the 17 up. Rider's RPI last year was better than 2 SEC teams, so we didn't lose to Alcorn State or St. Agnes School for the Deaf. No, Rider isn't North Carolina either, but they're a decent team that can beat somebody if you don't come prepared, which we did not. I'm terribly disappointed and pissed, but we've got 29+ games left, and plenty of time to make up for this one.

My best advice for Coach and fishwater and their buddies is to remember Wimp Sanderson's Arkansas Little Rock team beating a team at the Hump that eventually went to the Final Four, and all the drama that surrounded our Rhodes Scholar (or Rogue's Scholar for some of you) Mr. Dontae Jones.
