A Mississippi television station cited sources inside Mississippi State University's Athletic Department that Petersen has been offered a four-year contract worth almost $9 million. Our affiliate in Jackson, Mississippi, WAPT, told Today's Channel 6, Petersen met with school officials in Denver to discuss the open position. </p>

but I think something is up as well. I guess I'm setting myself up for the ultimate letdown, but I think it's strange that nothing had been put on the BSU athletic website. Something is still a little fishy.

not a dumbass. just realistic. nothing is completely shut and nothing is completely in the bank. it's all fluid until greg byrne walks off a plane on live TV with coach by his side.
