Is anyone else excited about this game? I know it's hard to get up fora womensgame, but this is a big game for us. Going this far generates some more revenue for us, and just for the simple fact that we have a chance to get to the Elite Eight. I know there is a baseball game today, but I'm actually looking forward to watching the womens game today. Anyone else feel the same?

they could win the National Title, and it really wouldn't make a difference to me. I'd be glad for the university and the players, but women's basketball is just not relevant in the wide world of sports to me.

Usually women's basketball doesn't mean crap to me, but I guess I'm a little excited about it. I would really like to see us play UCONN. Would probably get blown out, but who cares.

I'll watch it. Be happy if they win and will watch Connecticut destroy them Tuesday.

The difference is I will not care five minutes after the game if they lose on a last second 94 foot behind the back four point play.

...When women are successful in sports, it gives them an exaggerated sense of self-esteem and makes them feel good about themselves in things besides learning how to be a good wife, mother, and homemaker. Then, when they get out of school, they wonder why all the men are marrying Russian or Filipino Mail-order brides.

Why would it not make a difference? Isn't Miss State your school? You don't have to be nuts about women's basketball but it is supposedly your school and you should support it every way possible.....perhaps even by watching and hoping our women's team wins. Before you say it, I am not asking you to support sports you don't care about.....just asking you to be more supportive of State. No matter what sport or gender is playing.

But I'd probably DVR it and watch at 2X speed so it seems interesting. I didn't watch any of our elite 8 game three years ago. I'm mildly pleased we got that far, but it doesn't make watching the games suck less.

I'm happy we're in the Sweet 16 and I hope we make the Elite 8. But I'm not going to watch any of it. I'd probably watch if we made the Final Four. Now if we hada bunch of hot girls on the team, I'd bemore likely to watch.

a few years ago, could be 5 years ago, could have been last year. I wasn't interested then and I wouldn't be interested if they were playing for a title.

I was in Dayton with them because I was working with the Ole Miss band at the time, but if I hadnt been there I can promise I would not have even known about it. Or cared enough to change my channel to watch it.

Me and couple of buddies of mine had this exact same conversation last night, all 3 guys are avid State fans. I mean the type that have not missed a home football game in years, and go to every basketball and baseball series that they can. All 3 of us live in Memphis and the question was would you go to FedEx Forum to watch the National Championship game if the Titty Dawgs were in it and how much is the most you would pay for a ticket. 1 of the guys said that $10 would be the most they would pay for the ticket, and the 2 others agreed that they would not go or watch it on TV. I guess this is bad to say but I don't give two ***** about what the women sports teams at MSU. I don't care if they win every game or lose every game, makes no difference to me whatsoever. Today, I am extremely anxious to watch our Baseball team on Maroon to the Max and see if we can pull out the series win, but I won't even check the scores of the womens game.
