I know there aren't many buzzard fans out there, but we all know one....here's what I'm gonna do...

The year we play SMCC (South Mississippi Community College aka University of Southern Mississippi), I am going to invite the one and only SMCC friend I have to the game in Starkville, pay for his ticket, drive him up there, and let him get put in his place.They will go away for another 15 years. I think all of you should do the same.<div>

We may be a pile of **** by then. Who knows....lost our top recruit today and others are supposedly following suit. But I will be glad to take a free ticket lol. And a free meal from the Veranda lol

You're a Southern Miss fan. Anything. Anywhere. Anytime...for free. I would think that the 9 otherfolks you guys bring will carpool, not spend the night, and eat your one meal from a Subway in a gas station.

Sorry..just had to have some USM humor. At least all ten of you may come since it's not in Hawaii. Unlike the Bears who don't travel since the Grove isn't portable.

I remember back in 77, when USM beat MSU, OM and Auburn in the same year, many MSU and OM friends of mine told me that year was a fluke and little Miss Southern would be back in their rightful position in the coming years. Well, USM beat MSU six years in row after 77 and USM beat OM 4 out of the next 6 years. MSU did win 4 out of the last 7 games against USM. I would say USM was more than competitive after that 77 year and I expect when we play again, USM will be very competitive again. At least it won't be just speculation but an actual score on the scoreboard again.

USM is 2-8 against the SEC in it's last 10 against the SEC.<div>

MSU is 3-7 against the SEC in the last ten games against the SEC. Is that relevant?

</div><div>However ... I can honestly say I don't know a single fan of USM. My brother-in-law graduated from there about a hundred years ago, but he's one of the biggest MSU fans that I know of. And to my knowledge, he's the only grad that I know.</div>
