I know we have a few Panthers fans here...

Delhomme has been released according to ESPN. I didn't think they would do it. I fully expected him to trot out on the field the first game next year to a chorus of boo's.

learns the ropes? I think he would be a good fit. But I don't think there are any QBs I really want in the draft.

I was really sweating that. I liked him, but he hasn't been the same since the surgery.

McNabb is solid, but not great so you're right. He would be a good fit in Carolina. With the running game the Panthers have, a solid QB like McNabb would turn the Panthers into a really tough offense to match up against. I like what Matt Moore did the last few games, but he's still far from proven.<div>
</div><div>On the other hand, you have Vick who said this week that he wants to be a Panther. I would be happy with a Vick / Moore combo, or with McNabb. I'm not sure that Panthers management will do either though. I'm betting it's Moore all the way, with maybe a free agent career backup. We've already traded our first round pick for this draft.</div>

especially since Fox hates starting young QBs and especially dislikes drafting them. I am fine with Matt Moore, but I do not want a retread like McNabb or vick. I really do like Central Michigan QB Dan LrFevour who has similar college stats to another MAC star-Rothlesberger. He would be a good pick in the 3rd and could be groomed for a couple of years.

He's like 7-1 as a starter and had one of the highest QB ratings in the league last year (on limited attempts since he didn't play much until the last month of the season). I'd go with him and try to sign an experienced backup.
