I know we're all upset with Dak's performance,

I really hate to hear that. He's a tough kid and played through it, and played through some adversity, and kept playing hard till the end.

Hate to hear that, but maybe its for the best. Seemed like she was really suffering.

I played on the day of my grandad's funeral- I really just shouldn't have bothered.

I never really like to lump on them, because I know they're going out there doing their best and not trying to lose or anything. But something to remember is sometimes you never know. Damn I hate to hear that. I know of another pretty prominent player whose father is in bad shape, and has been for some times- has a progressive disease that has progressed fairly quickly. So- prayers to both of those kids, and any others in similar situations.

That's absolutely awful to hear. I will definitely keep him and his family in my thoughts and prayers. We may say it all the time, but its hearing things like that make you put silly things like football and the like into proper perspective.

Sure puts things into perspective doesn't it?

5 turnovers isn't a bad day. Football is just a game. Prayers for him and his family. Sad news indeed.

Lost my grandfather who was a father to me to cancer, and his attitude at the end was a positive one. Looking back it's really hard for me to be sad about his death because I know he was ok with it.

He was 90, so I don't know how much Dak can relate... but I hope he can lean on his faith enough to come to the conclusion that his mother is in a better place and no matter how sad/mad he can be about it his mother is better off.

Football is just a sport, and we do this dance every year. I'll forget this weekend by next season. He will never forget it. Really puts sports in perspective. Especially college sports. I remember when Favre played the game following Irvin's death... but he was an adult and a professional. Imagine being a sophomore in college. The season is toast... start TR and give our man a week off. He deserves it.... if that's what he wants.

Amen, helps to keep things in perspective guys. I believe his mama is the only

parent he has had in his life, most of us were luck enough to have two parents that got us through our journey. I think you can appreciate what he must be feeling and has been feeling for the past year.
