Don't cuss me if this has already been discussed. On the way to work this morning the radio was saying the Packers offered Brett 20 milliion over the next 10 years to not show up at training camp. So he has to choose if 20 mill is more important than 1 or 2 more years of football.

Is this in addition to the 12.5 he is to make next year alone? I tell Green Bay if they want me to stay at home they cam pay me 50 Mil over 5 years to sit at home or I'm either showing up to work or going to another team.

you don't help other teams in the league if you don't have to. It would be foolish for them to trade him within the division. It would also be foolish for them to release him (and him end up signing within the division). If they can get a package they deem suitable from some other team then I'm sure they would look into it but you certainly don't do it just for the sake of doing it.

Agreed... The Packers are starting to look pretty childish here...

I hope he shows and and the fans go nuts when Rogers takes the first snap in pre-season...

...Minnesota or Chicago, then sit back and watch the media frenzy devour the season of which ever team got him while reveling in the fact that he can't be successful immediately in another system. And finally have another laugh in next year's draft when they pick up a quality player with the additional second round pick they got for him.
