The situation has Elliott - who has battled back from two torn knee ligaments to be practicing this fall - ready to see what the trio can accomplish.
"Real dangerous, all of us can be really dangerous. Dixon, Stallworth, Ducre, Connor and especially Perkins, who is probably the fastest back out of the group. All of us are going to be real dangerous when we get the ball in our hands out of the backfield," Elliott said.
I wounder how much speed Elliott has lost due to injury.

in the brief glimpse we got of him last year. However, I will acknowledge that watching Jerious all these years has skewed my concept of speed.

I agree. That was my first impression of Elliot when we saw him, that he didn't have the great speed it was alleged he had. Not surprising really, that yet another overhyped MSU recruit didn't impress as much as we were led to believe he would.

he had in front of him....I think elliot had some good plays and showed promise before the injury. I'd defintely put him in for that utah pass play that Mullen use to rip us with while @ uf.

D Miller was everything that Anthony Dixon is not. Miller knew how to play RB. Dixon is just a good, big athlete playing RB. Wish we could fuse them together.

chances are we end up with an under developed moron. that being said, i always felt that when dixon could make a smart play, he did. its just that he was oftentimes put with the conundrum of "we need ten yards, if i do what i'm supposed to do, i'll get one yard, but if i go around the corner, well, maybe i can break something for 8-10 yards." i saw that a lot with our running "schemes," croom would always take conservative statistical approach that has proven to be disastrous.
