I think USM defense will let them cover getting 2 scores and Oregon State will score plenty of points this year..... SoCal giving 22 against Hawaii looks interesting. I think Lane will try to run up scores when possible this year to garner attention.
They were terrible last year. Gave up 28 points per game vs I-A opponents and gave up 42 to Middle Tennessee St. in thier bowl game. If they cover, it will be because of their offense, not their defense.
Good point, I was under the assumption they were returning to the "Nasty Bunch" on defense.... Must be chicken-sheep. The ole' ball coach is already talking about him not being sure about Garcia at QB. That will really build his confidence.
