tell me if I`m reading this correctly. According to Rivals our 25th ranked 2009 recruiting class ultimately produced 3 draft picks and 3 legitimate free agents. Ole Miss` 2009 18th ranked class produced 0 draft picks and 1 possible free agent. Do I have my recruiting classes and draft years lined up correctly ?

You`ll have to tell me...I honestly don`t know. Which school had the most and best redshirts that year ?

It's got way more than that.

From our 2009 class who have left:

- Fletcher Cox went 1st round last year to the Eagles
- Banks went 2nd round to the Bucs this year
- Technically, Darius Slay was in that class before he went JUCO, so I'm counting him. He went 2nd round this year to the Lions
- Josh Boyd went 5th round this year to the Packers
- McPhee went 5th round to the Ravens in 2011
- Chris White went 6th round to the Bills in 2011
- Cam Lawrence picked up as a FA with the Cowboys this year
- Bumphis picked up as a FA with the Dolphins

But what's most impressive is who is left from that class that is still on campus and likely to be drafted:
- Gabe Jackson
- Tyler Russell
- LaDarius Perkins
- Nickoe Whitley
- Deontae Skinner

All of these guys have a good chance at being drafted. So let's say all 5 of these get drafted. That would mean from the 2009 class that we would have 11 players drafted, potentially 4-5 of those in the 1st 2 rounds, and 13-14 players total on an NFL roster. That's more than half, and it's pretty damn impressive if you ask me.
