But it felt like the team was on the verge of giving up when they went down 14 for the second time, but that string of personal fouls seemed to fire them back up and put some fight back in them. Especially the defense.

It pissed them off. You could definitely tell.
This team doesn't quit. They have had every opportunity to and they haven't.
I agree / think you are right……. The UA penalties were so warranted that I think it lit a fire under us from the standpoint of “hey, that was my boy you just slung” and we decided to wake up
