I met a cousin to Fred Smoot today at the Atlanta airport. She was quite an attractive young lady and somewhat of a smack talker herself. Guess it runs in the family.

Anyway, talking to her got me to missing Fred and Smootsmack.com!!!

I'd sure like to see him back at State working with our program in some form. I bet his smack talk would fit right in again.

I wonder what he has planned after the NFL? Think he would make a decent recruiter or safety/corners coach or maybe even a receivers coach? Thoughts?

Another nice thing today was walking through the Airport with my MSU Football jacket on. I had several "GO DOGS" comments from travelers and airport employees. I also got a lot of comments from other people wearing other schools apparel of schools outside the SEC. All had very positive comments about the progress at State over the last two years and all commented on how tough the SEC is. It's great to be recognized!!!!

"Literally" is the word opposed by "figuratively."They are literary opposites. When you want to say figuratively, say that....not literally. Whether it is acceptable or not...it is wrong.

He's retired. Lives in Atlanta. He came to one of our games this year. Arkansas maybe?

Retired? I thought he was released last year as a free agent? Are no other teams interested? Is he not pursuing a continued career in the NFL? If not, what's he doing in Atlanta?

at first glance i was elated to see two of my favorite things in one pic... MSU and boobs. But upon further examination (looking at your profile), I noticed that you farked the MSU hat onto that girl.

This leads me to ask the following: Why did you fark an MSU hat onto such a trashy girl (nice bod...but a semi butter-face and is blasting a cig while flashing her tata's)? Couldn't you have chosen a better candidate to fark an MSU hat onto for your avatar?

To tie this back into the literary portion of the thread, what is the grammatical ruling for using "a" or "an" when referring the the acronym MSU. With the consonant beginning i would think to use "a".... but M is pronounced "emm" so then I think "an." What say ye?

BTW, I don't need anymore coffee this morning

I'm sure with his mouth, he'd be a public hit. And I bet he literally has the same knowledge of public office as 90% in office today. He'd figuratively be a man among boys then.

I take it you looked at the full res photo?

Trashy, maybe! She's a stripper so can't expect a whole lot of class but semi-butter face? NO!

I think she's HOT and that is why I picked her. To each his own though. I'd like to catch up with her and get her to actually pose in some MSU gear!!

By the way, the cig did get farked out for the avatar pic. Just hard to tell in that small photo. I also had MUCH smaller MSU pasties over her boobs but others on the board complained so I covered them more.

a comes before words beginning with a consonant and an comes before a word beginning with a vowell. The only exception is a silent H which calls for an, regardless of sound. I also underestand this rule is literal.

From the article I linked: "Having now retired from the NFL, Smoot is still wanting to be involved in the game he loves."

You got the pronunciation right Virgil (Derail one for me) but not quite on the reference. It was an inside comment from my girlfriend at the time and it's just stuck with me as a screen name since.

Kenny, I don't remember who it was that asked me to add the bigger boob covers but they were saying that it wasn't safe for work....they were probably right! Had to look REAL close to see that I had certain parts covered. If you want to see her in full HD, pickup the HD version of "Hatchet" she's in a brief shot at the end of the Madi Gras scene at the beginning of the movie. You can also click on my screen name then click "view my images" for a high res photo but it's NOT SAFE FOR WORK!!!! And if you are in the New Orleans area, you might check some of the strip clubs as she was working in one back in 2006. If you find out which, post away!!!!!!
