I noticed major progress on the video board this morning....

they are putting some kind of black backing on now and the frame work is all but finished. I got no pictures but maybe someone will by the end of the day. They have been working all day and night on this thing. They leave one of the stadium lights on all night so they can work.

They keep the campus lit up. Last night they had sparks flying all over the damn place they were doing some welding. Its looking damn good I feel bad for the guys working on it at 3 in the morning but you know they are making some bank on overtime.

If this is like any construction project I've been associated with, the contractor will get a bill for their prorated portion of the bill. GCs are usually responsible for all utilities.

For what it's worth. I was in one of the boxes at a USM game and the president of the company who is doing our video board was there. They also did USM's board. Talked about it some with him and he said it would be in use for the Kentucky game. He was sure of it. Said it would be awesome and extremely big. I can't remember all he said, but I liked how pumped up he was over our board. 182 ft is what I was told. 50 ft larger than UM's and much larger than USM's. USM's I must say I very nice, and loud.
