Should Croom pull a miracle out of his *** and we win tonight, we spend three days simply enjoying the win.
That means, if it's due to this new offensive line scheme suddenly making us the best line in the country, no "why the hell didn't we do this earlier?"
If that new kicker comes on and drills a 45-yard game-winner to go with 3 touchbacks, no "Why has this kid been sitting all year?"
If he turns over to the lost "back page" of his offensive playbook and we roll up 600 yards, no "where the hell has this been for 4 3/4 years?"

In other words, should the impossible happen and we pull off the upset of the year (decade?), no bitching. I really don't see how anyone who pretends to be a State fan would not be happy, even if it means another year of Croom.

Who's with me?

If we put up 250 yards of offense, you won't hear a peep from me.

But we won't be able to run the ball on them. I also fear the possiblity of Looney starting at center for us today. That might cause a few bad snaps to the center and be trouble for us. I have the feeling, as all of us do, that Bama has had this game marked down for a while and they are looking at killing us.

Bama 31
MSU 6 (Not Carlson FG's, but a TD by Dixon and a missed XP by Carlson)

and quit dreaming...

I really dont see how anybody that pretends to be a State fan could want Croom back under any conditions...you simply arent a fan of our school if you think he should be coaching this football team

But the fact of the matter is, he's most likely back regardless. We might as well pull off an upset we can talk about for years, as well as have a three game winning streak over a team we all love to hate, not to mention all but ruin their NC hopes.

Also, I said three days. 72 hours. Tuesday night, let 'er rip.

Bammer to get all the BCS style points they can muster to help expedite the inevitable. To make my evening worse, I get to watch the game with a group of Texas fans (friends) over dinner. Fortunately, they are actually pulling for the upset for obvious reasons, but know at the same time we will probably open several bottles of wine and just enjoy each others company while the Slytanic goes down fast.

....that nagging itch that tells me it's a very bad thing for our future if it does happen. Sure, it would be an unbelieveable win,. but it'd also likely be another damn fluke that makes Croom look a lot better than he really is. I mean, there's a reason he can lose to La. Tech, not score a single offensive point in a 3-2 loss to Auburn, lose to UK at home, lose to a very bad UT team that lost to Wyoming, and then suddenly pull out a victory over #1 Bama on the road. It's called a FLUKE, and some **** like that always seems to happen that helps keep incompetent idiots like him in charge at MSU.
