We have a new day at DW. We have crowd noise all the time.

I wish there were closed-captioningsubtitles, or the equivalent, at certain times.
During the introduction of the Seniors, the audio was inaudible, due to crowd noise.
So, as our seniors introduced themselves, their name, HS or JC heritage, number and positionwas not heard.
There should have been captions, at least until the noise died from the prior recognition.

Many of us fans, especially the 25% or so who appear to be older than even me, would have appreciated that.
So if any of the readers of this board [I know you are here] have input to the 'Tron, consider that for next year.

That also applies to those PS announcements, like when Dan's saying to sit on the bell.
Don't need it for the commercials. Unless they are paying extra, of course.

captions on jumbotron would have helped...couldn't hear the PA system during the seniors intro...
also at homecoming, they failed to put the words of the alma mater on the 'tron' and i had to do the 'la la la' thing...

from a television prespective ... I could hear the crowd noise .... all during the game ...still heard a lot of cowbells , but what I noticed was the amount of crowd noise .... for once it sounded like a larger stadium filled to capacity with the fans YELLING instead of just ringing

edited for spelling ... sorryyou teachertypes, but not today

Not that I really care about the homecoming court announcements, but much of that was completely inaudible. I'm sure it would have been nice to at least put some of their info on the screen. Maybe they did & I just don't remember, but I do remember us joking about the audio being so bad about midways through the maids walking out.

I think it has to do with where their speakers are aimed. For the first two years of the dawgzillatron, I sat in section C and couldn't hear a damn thing. This year, I used a friend's season ticket in 705 and your ears bleed from every announcement and advertisement up there. I don't know how it is on the west side upper deck but it blows you away on the east side.

we pick up SC next year, since it seems ok to let that damn rooster crow before a snap, why can't we have the bulldog bark and growl right before the snap like they do. Have that sum ***** growliing and barking all through the huddle and upuntil he says blue 21 hike. Do it for all games!

I noticed Alabama has speakers placed behind every section, instead of one huge speaker in an endzone like we have. That way your sound is better distributed, and you don't have to worry about a sound time-delay from one end of the field to the other.

Don't know why we didn't do that.
