Miller might be good on the national stage but in the sec he sucks..it's time for him to get some pitchers and do something.

I just said it was good pubs for MSU.

Miller's done well with good talent, but haven't also Saban and Meyer in football?
I glean from yourobservation that Miller's not a great recruiter.

And, I don't follow MSU softball any more than 90% +of our poasters here.

that MSU would get some quality softball players with him as the coach if nothing else to try to get "an in" with Team USA, which is the elite softball team in America, if not the world.

But I am probably more passionate about soccer/futbol than I am about SEC softball.
Which means that I may watch World Cup matches if the US is playing.
And I did watch parts of the US softball games. Uh, it's the slow sports season.

And, I was more interested when my daughter was young, and playing both sports.
But only interestedin her games. (Her brother was more the jock, in several sports)

Why doesn't Miller attract the talent?
You are closer to that pavement than I am.

And that was Team USA vs a team of girls from Mississippi that looked like it was kind of thrown together. I went to see Jenny Finch.

My educated guess is that Miller hasn't been the head coach of Team USA all that long, and he will maybe reap the benefits over time? I would suspect that with him being involved with Team USA that he would have to rely on his assistants to do the brunt of recruiting.

I find women's softball boring.

because his wife is executive director of the National Softball Association or something.

If softball were still an Olympic sport, he wouldn't be anywhere near it. International softball without the Olympics is no where near the importance of college softball. And college softball is very unimportant (although it gets way better ratings than WNBA games)

Best Softball teams in Mississippi <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Worst teams on the West Coast. Until that gets better, MSU has zero chance of being a player. The elite SEC programs are elite because they are able to snag elite pitchers on the West coast that want a change of scenery.

If I'm Miller, I take one of my 20 scholarships and offer the top pitcher on the 10th place 18U Gold team a full ride to come to MSU. You get a couple of those type players and you might be able to win more than 3 SEC teams.
