I really hate when everytime Stans comes out with a win, several people think they have to come on the board and say things like "where are all of the stans haters now" and "some people owe stans an apology". The thing is, we don't owe him anything. Yes, this was a huge win, but he still should have never lost to those cup cake teams (san diego and charlotte). I feel no reason to apologize for any negative thing I have ever said about him, especially since in 10 years, he's never made it to the Sweet 16.

Blah blah blah. It is no different than the idiots that come on here after every loss wanting a new coach. You do sound upset we won though

Your right about me "sounding" like I'm upset we won, but I'm actually really impressed with the win. I was only saying that i get tired of seeing the headlines of " where the stans haters now" etc. after every win. Do you not agree that it is piss poor that we lost to san diego and charlotte?

I agree we shouldnt have lost them, but I also realize that we are dealing with a young team who lost their top 2 players last year. Anybody with half a brain would know we would start of slow this year. Should we have lost the games? No. Should Stans have been fired for losing them or have his job in jeopardy? No

dumbasses on this board who think we can do soooooo much better than him simply because we're the mecca of college basketball. Sorry that we won tonight and you can't hate on the winningest basketball coach in my school's history. I know it must be eating at you that we may actually be improving with a young team as the year progresses. Must suck to be to you. Anyways, I will continue to post stupid **** like 'FIRE STANS NOW' as long as we have other stupid fukcs on this board, such as yourself, who want him fired after losing a game we all feel he shouldn't have. You, and the rest of the haters, can eat a dick. Fukc off!

I know we are young and when did I say anything about firing him? You admitted that we should have never lost those games. My main point to this thread was to say that its ridiculous that people always say "where the stans haters now" after every win. I realize his about the 4th or 5th winningest coach in the past 10 years, but where has that gotten us? Don't know the exact numbers but I'm pretty sure it is about 4 1st round losses, 2 2nd round losses, 3 nit's, and 1 no postseason.

when you take your morning ****, you don't get the whole **** out. It doesn't slide out like a kid going down the long slide at Geyser Falls. Instead, it's like that fat chick getting stuck on a dry part of the Moon Shot (or whatever that ride is that looks like you're going to get flung out of it). You have to use 2/3 of a roll of toilet paper to get that part of the pinched loaf totally wiped up....and even then you're not quite sure you got it totally out or if your're going to have track marks when you take off your underwear at the end of the day.

he is the winningest coach in MSU history. Has won multiple SEC West Championships, SEC Tourney Championships and has won an overall SEC Championship. Pretty much every single year, we are in the running for a SEC Western Division Championship but that's just not good enough for some of you dumbasses.

You know what I'm sick of? People like you calling for his job after we have a loss against someone we all feel we shouldn't have lost to. Stans has raised the expectations of our basketball program that we feel the need to want a new coach after losing to somebody that beat UConn and KY last season and have all starters returning this year. Get a grip bro. We are not Duke, UNC or UCLA. We are MState and what Stans has done here is just short of remarkable. As long as we have to have the discussion of finding Stans' replacement for going 22-10, I will be here spouting how '****** a coach' he really is. Either get over it or go back to genespage.

Was when I became a basketball fan.
The Babe led us to multiple SEC championships.

And jumped outside the box, during that period of racial segregation, to advance us in the NCAA.
We lost that first game against Loyola, but have had better days, since.

That's my perspective.

I'm quite happy with Stans. He's done us proud.
In a quite different era.

but if I still stand by the statement of if he doesn't make the tourney in the next 2 years, we should be looking for a new coach.

it really is a common culture today. take a man's 1-2 perceived weaknesses and magnify them to gigantic unrealastic proportions.

It's the first amendment. You have the right to be miserable.
