to the rotating QB situation we saw last year against AU and LSU. That's the one thing that could turn the positive of Russell's performance into a negative. That just does not work.
I really hope Mullen doesn't go back...

we have been an offensive rut for 3 1/2 games and Russell got us out of it. And 1 1/2 of those games was against a much weaker opponent.
Even using him as a wildcat he isn't all that useful because everyone knows what he is going to do when he is in the game. At least with Russell running the option it has an element of surprise and there aren't 11 in the box when he runs it.
