I really, really want us to play Ghana.

Yeah they're starting to sway me too. I think we'd get something closer to the Ghana that played Serbia but still, they are crap today. The way this game's going, Australia being one of the teams out of Group D is not out of the question. Amazing the chances they are getting while down a man. <div>

goals in goal differential. I.E. Germany would have to beat Ghana 3-0 and they would have to beat Serbia 2-0. No way. Best thing we can hope for is that Ghana advances by tying Germany and Serbia beats Australia. Then, we don't have to worry about the Germans.
I wouldn't mind playing Germany. Ghana scares me...we seem to not put pressure on the ball outside the 18 yard box and Gyan is awesome. I think he's a top player in the World Cup. That guy could cause major problems. I think Australia just got down on themselves against Germany, but Germany didn't see overly impressive against Serbia. Ballack really hurts the Germans. I think we have a great shot against either team. If England and USA win I think we get the #1 seed because of goals scored. Honestly, I would rather play Germany or Ghana, not Serbia. Serbia is a dangerous team.
I think we beat Algeria and England beats Slovenia so we advance as the #1 team in our group. Germany beats Ghana and Serbia beats Australia so Serbia advances as the #2 team in Group D. We beat Serbia in the 1st knockout round to advance to the quarterfinals.
