I think Ammons would've been a solid pickup as a 3.

He likes the spin move. Looks like he hasa good all around game. I'm surprised he is going to South Alabama.

I'm glad we took others. He looks to me like a guy who dominates high school players cause he's a full grown man. I didn't think he looked like he had exceptional skill which would translate to the next level. Instead it seemed like he just might be a guy who would suddenly be playing with a bunch of other full grown men and suddenly not be nearly as effective.

Right now man among boys.

There is a reason USA was his best offer.

Now if he were a few inches taller a different story

It's not like he was just overpowering everyone. He handled the ball well and had a few good moves. He played with good effort and was under control. It's not his fault he is strong, and yes, he used it to his advantage. But he had more game than the kids who are just "men among boys.".

I'm not saying our coaches are idiots for passing him up, just that he wouldve been a solid pickup.

Vandy. He will occasionally hit a three, but he is a slasher/banger 3. Will play bigger because if his physical attributes, definitely can crash the boards, and has really good footwork. I like as a situational player his first 2 years while developing his outside game, and start by his junior year.
