"Im the OC,I'm he bus driver, I'm the equipment man, I'm the lawn guy,I'm the secretary, I'm everything, b/c whatever's not going right is me" This is CYA He's taken over for his sick homie and is total control of the offense, now. Woodrow is now relegated to an advisor or paid observer. Croom let out the proverbial cat Monday nite and now its bit him in his walrus booty.

the phone, and moving equipment around, that's another excuse for not having time to coach...another out for him. This kind of statement is a slap in the face of his critics, plain and simple. He simply can't take constructive criticism. Shirley Byrne is astute enough to see this.

Basically what I took from that statement is that he's the head coach. Anything and everything that happens is because he ok'd it to happen. I was more concerned about the statement where he said he wasn't going to fire anyone unless he was fired himself, which I'm not opposed to the latter.

CSS replay last night showed several sideline shots of Croom personally sending players in and out. The timeout right before half, Croom huddle the Off. on the sidelines with headphones around his neck. Believe it or not, if you watch the replay, the plays had the recievers open all day. The problem was crazy sh-t like "the snap", the reciever jumping up for the ball way to early, passes that floated 10 ft over the receivers head, and that <17>in' 3rd down call of Dixon up the middle that never worked.

didn't get one. Croom picks Woody as OC, but then calls the plays thinking they were going to be successful, and then prop Woody up so he could get a job as a kingfish...then they both be's kingfishes....best laid plans of mice and men often go a wry.

....stubborn as hell and a lousy head football coach, but he's intelligent. That's why I don't buy this ******** explanation a day later after making more controversial comments. He knows what he's saying when he says it, and the only time I believe he ever tries to "clarify" what he's saying is when someone gets on to him about it.

Think about it people. If Croom is telling the truth, and he truly evaluates the job his coaches are doing, or evaluates the schemes, etc. with the intention of making major changes if needed, then why in hell didn't he make changes two freaking years ago when they were so obviously needed? Hell, even just a year ago? As far as I'm concerned, it's a lie, and if he does make changes it's gonna be because Byrne forces it and Croom doesn't want to lose his overpaid salary.

So if Croom is calling the plays, he is responsible, and if Woody is calling the plays....and Croom let this **** happen for almost five years...Croom IS responsible.

or observe....just like Croom..they're both getting paid to learn and observe, but where is the teacher? Is Croom the teacher? if so, his lesson plan sucks...so they are both learning and sucking at the same time.
